These archive contains an Installer.app package for an OpenStep
framework for libjpeg-6b. The IJG JPEG library provides C code
to read and write JPEG-compressed image files.  The surrounding
application program receives or supplies image data a scanline at
a time, using a straightforward uncompressed image format.  All
details of color conversion and other preprocessing/postprocessing
can be handled by the library.

INSTALLATION

Install the framework to /LocalLibrary/Frameworks.  This is the easiest
place to put it, and software built with this framework expects it to
be there.  Alternate locations are possible, only if you know what you
are doing and/or you don't mind playing with the Makefile in the 
framework to change the default installation parameters.

- build with D_MAX_BLOCKS_IN_MCU=64 for compatibility with
  Adobe interpreters like Ghostscript.
