Getting Started with Navigator

Click on a folder and open Navigator from Trackers Open With menu.

In case the Navigator Tracker Add-On has been installed, Navigator can be opened from the Tracker Add-Ons menu or using the shortcut keys. Per default Option key + Command key + N.

The Navigator window shows the entire directory tree of the selected directory. Nested directories are shown on the top level of the tree. Each file within any directory can be reached with at most two mouse clicks.

The contents of the tree is static. If it changes it can be reloaded manually using the Refresh menu item.

Entries can be dragged to other applications. When entries are dropped into Tracker they are copied.
Be careful to drag entries to the Trash bin, because they will be deleted!
Navigator does not accept drops though.

The selected entries in Navigator can be opened with the preferred application either using ALT+O, the Enter key or the Open menu item or context menu.
An application that can handle the entries can be opened using the Open With menu.

Navigator allows to open Tracker Add-Ons as well. A Tracker Add-On can be opened from the Add-Ons main menu or context menu.
