General Vandelay is a BeOS application that converts a selected unit to another. Ie. ever wondered how many litres fit into a gallon, or how many kilometers you must drive to reach a mile? Well this is just what Vandelay will help you with. Install where ever you wish (I recommend moving the "Vandelay" folder to /boot/apps). How To Use Choose a category in the "Categories"-menu. Then just enter a numerical value in the "Convert"-box, select the units you wish to convert From/To. The result is showen in the "Result"-box, and a more detailed result right below. The numerical value can be either positive or negative. The conversion is triggered from both unit-menus. 
Specs. Vandelay 1.5 units: Area: Acre, Centimeter2, Hectare, Inch2, Meter2, Yard2. Distance: Foot, Kilometer, Meter, Mile(US). Power: Horsepower, Kilowatt. Pressure: Bar, Pascal(Pa), PSI.
