Version 0.4.2 for BeOS R5/x86. BeBits Link

ticWorkspaceGadget is a handy tool for managing and changing workspaces.
ticWorkspaceGadget (the preflet) requires liblayout.
Double-click on the file "install.sh". Note that this will delete any previous versions of ticWorkspaceGadget, including pWarp <= v0.3. NOTE! This will restart the input_server, and on some configuration this might crash it! In that case, just restart the computer.
To "warp" to another workspace, hit an edge of screen with mouse cursor in order to switch to the edge's adjacent workspace. Also, if you want to switch to a workspace to the left or the right of the current, the speed vector needs to be largely horizontal. Same goes for vertical. This means that if you're aiming for the workspace under the current workspace, and accidently hit against the right edge of the screen, nothing will happen until you eventually strike the bottom edge of the screen!
To display the Workspaces window, move the mouse cursor into the corner in which you've set the popup to be displayed. In order to make it easier to position the mouse cursor at the corners, the edges corresponding to half the popup's size will not cause a workspace switch. This means you can move the mouse as fast as you want to one of the corners to display the popup.
In this section the various options in the preflet ticWorkspaceGadget will be presented.
Lets you choose if you want to change workspaces by hitting the edges of the screen.
The minimum speed with which you need to "hit" the edges of the screen with the mouse cursor in order change to the adjacent workspace. A value of 300 corresponds to hitting the edge at full speed from the middle of the screen at 1024x768 with medium mouse speed settings.
Lets you choose if you want the Workspaces window appear by placing the mouse cursor at one of the pre-defined positions, which are:
* Top left
* Top right
* Bottom left
* Bottom right
When the cursor is moved from Workspaces' frame, the window will hide.
By default, options are only changed for the current workspace. If you wish the current configuration to be set for all workspaces, press this button.
Since v0.4.2:
* Doesn't warp if any mouse button is pressed at the hit (useful for carelessly selecting text. ;).
Since v0.4.1:
* Now enabling/disabling warping and setting the threshold actually works.
Since v0.4:
* Fixed the install script so it works correctly on systems not having the filter folder, such as Zeta. Also made it executable, so users can double-click it.
Since v0.3:
* Removed the popup animation, smarter mouse position detection.
* Enabled setting preferences for individual workspaces.
* More intelligent warping algorithm, using speed instead of time at the edge.
* Complete rewrite of input_server filter.
