IFSToy, ©Stig A. Olsen 1996 (Stig.A.Olsen@hda.hydro.com) IFSToy is a little program for making IFS (Iterated Function Systems) images with a random iteration algorithm. The program will upon start generate the classic "fractal fern". Other images can be generated by dragging and dropping the ".ifs" data files in the main window. When you rescale the window, the image will be regenerated to the new size. The program uses the "Pulse" events in the main program to generate the plots. Close to 5000 points is drawn on every "pulse-beat". If you want to learn more about IFS read Michael Barnsley's "Fractals Everywhere". Other "popular" versions are also probably available at your local bookstore. The program was made to familiarize myself with the BeOS, and reflects it both in size and functionality. Expect some new "more useful" programs to come soon. This program is fully public domain, no strings attached. Change it, delete it, use or abuse it at your own pleasure. keep buzzing, Stig A.
