With MonitorTest you can check your monitor for different types of faults, ie. convergence, focus, color etc. MonitorTest doesn't adjust anything for you, it just displays different types of testscreens that make it easier for you to adjust your monitor. Caution: Don't mess about inside your monitor if you don't know what you're doing! You may get an electric shock! -------------------------------------------------- 2. Usage -------------------------------------------------- 2.1 Install Unzip and run where ever you wish. I recommend moving the "MonitorTest" folder to /boot/apps. Be sure not to change the "Screens" folder or its contents or else you won't see the nice artwork in the main screen ;-) 2.2 Usage After you've launched MonitorTest you'll see the main screen. The buttons will take you to the different testscreens. Most testsections will have more than 1 testscreen and you use your left and right mouse buttons to flip back and forth between them. If you reach the end or the beginning of a testsection you'll get back to the main screen. 2.3 Beta software... READ! MonitorTest is beta software and so it isn't yet fully functional. Restrictions are as follow: - Only 3 testsections are done; Geometry, Color, Moire. - MonitorTest only operates fully in the following resolutions: 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024, 1600x1200 @ 8, 15, 16 or 32 bit color depth. You may use it in other resolutions but problems may occur. -------------------------------------------------- 3.
